Scripture Meditation
Psalms 119: 15 I will meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
Meditation is a combination of reviewing, repeating, reflecting, thinking, analyzing, feeling and even enjoying. It is a physical, emotional and intellectual activity.
Scripture meditation is applying the principles of meditation to reading scripture.
Key Point:
1. Take time to read a verse or passage several times.
2. Memorize a passage.
3. Quiet yourself and allow the Holy Spirit speak to you through God’s Word.
4. Consider how a passage applies in your life.
5. Try to imagine what God feels.

Hello Rick. Just thought I would comment on you Blog site. I accessed it through the MGCC site. I like what you have done here. I don't access it often (mostly because my computer at home is so slow), but thought I'd take a minute while I'm at the Library. Hope you are getting something out of the Bible study on Wednesday nights. It is a topic very near to my heart (being excellent for God) and the book impacted my life immensely. I know it can seem basic at times, but maybe that is where we need to get to on occassion. Anyway, I'll try to look at your blog site more often and give you comments on it. See you. Jeff
